About the project
A web dashboard for monitoring and managing IoT face recognition devices deployed at an international client's locations. Administrators check device status, review access history, and manage authorized users. One interface serves two needs: employee attendance and event check-in.
Key features
Real-time dashboard: active devices, daily attendance metrics, employee rankings, attendance trends, and live access logs.
REST API integration with the face recognition devices for monitoring, configuration, and remote unlock.
Device management: register, edit, delete, and network settings (Ethernet or Wi-Fi, static or dynamic IP).
User management with several credential types (face, card, password), plus data import and export.
Attendance and event check-in with access permission groups, visitor invitations, and access logging.
Authentication with protected routes, and a responsive layout for desktop and mobile.
Technical approach
The frontend is a modular React app: feature modules, reusable components, custom hooks for modals and filtering, and a dedicated API layer. The interface is designed for non-technical administrators. Our role on this project: frontend development.
